Secrets Maroma Resort, Cancun, Mexico Wedding | Ashley + Jake

Ashley and Jake got married at the beautiful Secrets Maroma Resort in Cancun, Mexico. They had about 50 of their family and friends come out for the most fun week of sun, drinks + quality time. The resort was incredible from staff, cleanliness, service and overall atmosphere. Ashley started by getting ready at the resort Spa after having a slow and relaxing morning and the ceremony was at sunset on the beach with the reception poolside. This day was the most carefree, joyous and so special to capture knowing this couple for years.

Ashley and Jake opted for first looks prior to the ceremony so they spent an extra few hours together throughout the day. While it’s always your own choice to do a first look or private vow reading together before the ceremony it’s absolutely okay to wait! While creating your timeline together we can adjust where we need so you can have enough time for portraits after the ceremony together and still possibly enjoy cocktail hour with guests! A few months prior to the wedding day you’ll get a questionnaire to fill out and we can go over all the details together to create the perfect timeline together and be sure you get what you are hoping for on your wedding day.

A common question is what my packages look like when booking a destination wedding with me and an average price point. Every location really is different and varies is why I don’t give out a rough estimate but in short – the regular package you want to book (8-10 hours) travel fees of my flight + 3 nights hotel. I will arrive 2 days prior to wedding day and leave morning after to ensure I’m there early enough in case of any delays and also scout the area you’re getting married at prior to the day of.
